Client Assistance Program

The Law Center’s Client Assistance Program or CAP helps people with disabilities who are applying for Vocational Rehabilitation services. The CAP’s main job is to advocate for your rights under the rehabilitation act and make sure you get the services you need.

We can help if you:

  • have been denied eligibility,
  • disagree about the services you are being provided,
  • have trouble understanding or talking with your counselor or
  • if your case is being closed, we can explain your legal rights and help advocate for you.

CAP is a client-led process which means the person you work with will only advocate for what you have asked them to do. You get to decide if the options offered will work for you. The CAP advocate can help you understand the process and your rights as you move forward with getting the services you need.
