What are VR services?
Vocational rehabilitation (VR) programs help people with disabilities become more independent and ready to work. VR programs can help people with disabilities go to school, get job training, or open a business.
Who is eligible?
Individuals with physical or mental impairments
You must have a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits your ability to work. Your disability must limit or stop you from beginning, advancing in or keeping a job.
Require Vocational Rehabilition Services
You must be able to benefit from VR services, which means that the services must make it easier for you to get a job.
Additional requirements for Tribal VR Programs, enrollment in an american indian tribe
You must be an enrolled member of a state or federally recognized tribe.
Be a Resident of the program’s service area
You must live on or near the Tribe’s reservation and/or within the tribe’s designated service area.
