**Native American Disability Law Center Announces Upcoming Navajo Nation Disability Community Forum on Disability Issues**

The Native American Disability Law Center is proud to host the 2026 Navajo Nation Disability Community Forum on Disability Issues. This forum is an opportunity for community members' voices to be amplified and heard by the Navajo Nation candidates inform candidates of the leadership and advocacy needed to assist people with disabilities across the Navajo Nation. We encourage individuals with disabilities, family members, advocates, service providers, tribal leaders, and the general public to attend and engage in this important conversation.

**Time: ** 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
**Location:** Phil L. Thomas Performing Arts Center, Shiprock, New Mexico

All Navajo Nation candidates are invited to participate in this important public forum and share how they plan to address issues that directly impact individuals with disabilities, their families, and communities throughout the Navajo Nation.

Forum topics will include:

* Public accessibility

* Voting rights

* Prevention of abuse and neglect

* Equal opportunity

* Access to services and supports for individuals with disabilities

* Employment
