**Native American Disability Law Center Announces Upcoming Navajo Nation Presidential Forum on Disability Issues**
The **Native American Disability Law Center** is proud to host the **2026 Navajo Nation Presidential Forum on Disability Issues**, providing an opportunity for Navajo Nation presidential candidates to discuss their vision for creating a more accessible, inclusive, and equitable Navajo Nation for individuals with disabilities.

**Time: ** 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
**Location:** Phil L. Thomas Performing Arts Center, Shiprock, New Mexico
All Navajo Nation presidential candidates are invited to participate in this important public forum and share how they plan to address issues that directly impact individuals with disabilities, their families, and communities throughout the Navajo Nation.
Forum topics will include:
* Public accessibility
* Voting rights
* Prevention of abuse and neglect
* Equal opportunity
* Access to services and supports for individuals with disabilities
* Employment
This forum is an opportunity for community members to hear directly from the candidates about their priorities and proposed solutions to improve the lives of people with disabilities across the Navajo Nation. We encourage individuals with disabilities, family members, advocates, service providers, tribal leaders, and the general public to attend and engage in this important conversation.
